Whether you are visiting Newcastle or living in Newcastle, you should absolutely visit the North Pennines. The North Pennines is marked an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and offers some of the most stunning walks, waterfalls and adventures.
We are very fortunate that a lot of our adventures take place in this beautiful place.
So, here they are, our favourite and most popular North Pennine Adventures:
Gorge walking has been our most popular activity since day. An incredible adventure that will tick the boxes of every participant in the group. 18ft leaps for the adrenaline junkie or something smaller for the more cautious adventurer.
This activity starts very progressive, you will meander your way up a stunning gorge before entering the main events. Throughout your gorge walking adventure, you can expect to take on natural rockslides, waterfall jumps, waterfall climbs and a number of other elements along the way.
Don’t just take our word for how good this adventure is, here’s 91 5* reviews that are directly linked to Gorge Walking.
White water tubing is the ultimate adrenaline-fuelled adventure.
You and your specialist white water tube will take on grade 4 white water. What’s grade 4 you say? Well, here’s a breakdown from our friends over at Unsponsored.
Once kitted and briefed up on your days adventure. Your guide will give you the opportunity to practise some techniques that will keep you safe when you inevitably fall out of your tube. It’s certainly not a question of ‘if’, it’s a question of ‘when’ you will fall out of your tube.
Again, this activity is very progressive, giving you plenty of time to get comfortable and confident; ensuring you fully enjoy your adventure.
And, if all of this isn’t enough, we’ve got an epic 20ft cliff jump to finish off you adventure.
White water rafting needs no introduction. An adventure that has shared joy to thousands over the years. Back in 2014, Endless Adventure North East was England’s first natural white water rafting activity provider. Since then, our white water rafting offer has expanded on to many rivers; some in Northumberland and some in Teesdale.
We have 8 rafts that cater for a number of party sizes; 6, 8 and 9 person crafts. Giving us the capacity to take 24 people on the river at once.
Oh, and don’t worry, we aren’t just a static site. You can expect to paddle at least 10km, where every rapid is different, the scenery is stunning, and the rapids are 100% natural and keep getting bigger and bigger.
Like the sound of gorge waking and white water tubing, but want to maximise your day out with your friends? Have a group of 6 or more? Well, this might be just for you. For just an extra £20pp you can combine these two activities and enjoy a 4-5 hour epic adventure all in one venue.
We’ve selected the bets bits and combined them to create the perfect day. Waterfall jumps, climbs, scrambles and then all of the best bits of white water tubing, including the green room. What’s the green room you say, well, you’ll have to come and find out.
If Gorge Walking wasn’t extreme enough, we’ve just stepped it up a notch.
Fancy abseiling down the side of that incredible waterfall at the top of this page? Well, that’s how your adventure will begin.
This abseil is incredible! Nothing but raging water at your side and rocks below, it certainly get’s the old ticker beating.
Don’t worry, it will be over in the blink of an eye. However, we don’t want it to be over in the blink of an eye, so do it again and this time style and enjoy it.
Once you’ve got your abseil fix, we’ll head into the gorge, take on the usual challenges gorge walking has to offer, but with a few additions here and there.
All of our adventure’s costs include all of your specialist equipment, hundreds of photos you day and a day you will not forget.
Our team are some of the most experienced in the game. Not only are they very experienced, they are very customer driven. This is certainly reflected in the super kind reviews we have received over the years.
Transport can be provided for groups of 6 or more for a small fee.Back to blog
