Kayaking Adventure Week with the Germans

On the 24/03/13 – We collected Matthias and Moritz two very enthusiastic; adventure seeking Germans up from Newcastle Airport. The reason for their trip was to spend a week of whitewater kayaking; starting at the Endless Adventure North East activity home – the Pennines – then venture up North to Scotland for waterfalls, waves and whiskey! After spending two days kayaking on the Upper Tees; our regular site for whitewater tubing, we started the 5 hour drive North to FortWilliam – the outdoor capital of the UK.

We spent the next 4 days running waterfalls on the river Etive, paddling extremely fun slides and surfing some of the highest quality waves at The Falls of Lora – a tidal race that forms at the Loch Etive/Firth of Lorn confluence. A fantastic week with Matthias and Moritz going home to Cologne two very happy guys.

it was a pleasure showing our visitors the outstanding beauty and adventure to be had in our stunning, natural environment. Why not drop in on us with your request for adventure? Whether its first timers on flat water or advanced abilities wanting to push their own limits; we guarantee a sense of accomplishment and achievement, in the heart of the most picturesque and jaw-dropping landscapes the UK has to offer – If you haven’t experienced the outdoors yet…even better!
