Epic Newcastle Adventures, Real Adventure, Real Close to your Accommodation

Newcastle Adventures, well, what can we say, there are so many.

Newcastle is packed with stunning places to visit. The City Centre is stooped in history; beautiful buildings, art galleries and bridges that shocked the engineering world, are just some but a few to mention.

If you want to leave the hustle and bustle of the City Centre, Newcastle is surrounded by award winning blue flag beaches, nature reserves and rivers that meander through beautiful places. Northumberland National Park is just 20 minutes out of Newcastle and spans for hundreds of miles of wilderness, forests and hills.

We have compiled a list of our top 5 Newcastle Adventures. These adventures are within 20 minutes of Newcastle; packed with adventure and just a short drive or Metro (tube) ride out of town.

Number 1: Coasteering

We often get asked “what is Coasteering”. In its simplest terms, Coasteering is very similar to Gorge Walking. However, this epic adventure takes place in the North Sea and along the rocks and cliffs on the coast.

After meeting your guide and being briefed about your adventure, you and your team will head down to the beach.

The entire adventure is a sea cliff traverse. Along the way, you can expect to jump into bottomless pools, be swirled around by the tide, go through under water tunnels and swim from island to island.

We always provide winter wetsuits and wetsuit socks for this adventure. We want you to be comfortable throughout your experience.

Number 2: Adventure Rafting

A fun and light-hearted adventure for you and your friends.

Our giant rafts allow you and all of the team to be together. You can choose to paddle around the coast or local lake. This activity is packed with plenty of wet and dry games.

Take on your friends with our gladiator jousts.

Number 3: Raft Building

Let’s face it, we all love a bit of healthy competition. Raft building is just that.

Supplied with a number of barrels, planks of wood and a load of rope; do you think your team has what it takes to make the perfect raft? Let’s find out!

Number 4: SUP – Stand Up Paddle Boarding.

An ever-growing adventure that is becoming even more popular (and for good reason).

Stand Up Paddle Boarding is an excellent way to explore the coast, flat water rivers and canals.

What’s different at Endless Adventure North East? Well, as we like to do things different, our SUP’s are giant, yes giant. They will fit 8 people on.

This is a great team bonding adventure that is inevitably hilarious.

Number 5: Rock Climbing and Abseiling

We are blessed to be surrounded by some of the best climbing in the UK.

As an intro session, we have a couple of venues just outside of town. Here, you can take to new heights, learn the fundamentals of rock climbing and also how to look after your friend at the local wall.

Want to experience an abseil? Well, why not!

Number 5: Mountain Biking.

Ok, so It’s a little out of 20 minutes, however, 30 minutes out of town and we have some fantastic trails. Graded red, blue or black and some natural trails thrown into the mix. We offer everything from professional mountain bike coaching to private guiding. Click the link above to find out more.

All of these activities are within 20 minutes of Newcastle. Perfect for a stag do, hen party or a day out with friends or colleagues.  Our friends at Experience Days have a massive range of activities which are a little bit further away, so if you don’t fancy any of our adventures head over to see what they can offer.
