Overview

Via Ferrata Honister gives you the opportunity to climb one of the Lake District’s finest mountains, Fleetwith Pike over 2000ft high.

You won’t be disappointed with the panoramic views over Buttermere Water either.
Not only will you climb and scramble your way to the summit of the mountain, you will take on the mighty cargo net and the Xtreme wire bridge; at over 1000ft high and over 150ft long you will be certain to have a rush of adrenaline.

Via Ferrata translated means ‘Iron Path’. This style of climbing was introduced to allow marines to gain vantage points on their enemies back in World War II.

For all groups, we can offer pick-ups and drop offs from various towns and cities in the North East and West. Everyone should try this activity at some point.
